About The HBCU Experience

The Full Story

The brand The HBCU Experience highlights the personal stories of students, alumni, and faculty who have Hampton’s legacy within their families, who have been working at the university for a significant amount of time, and whose lives and careers have been impacted by the university. It was created by Lydia Makondo Spring 2018, who is now a graduate of Hampton University to highlight the legacy of Hampton for its 150th anniversary.
